Super grateful to carry this record. Belmond now lives here in Miami, FL up-cycling insturments and spreading love. More on his story below.
"Belmond Black is a longtime Cameroonian born songwriter. For the past five decades, he has been making music on the quiet during his wanderings in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. The multimedia journalist by trade is also a multi-instrumentalist, a music researcher and an amateur luthier. He spent half of his life in Haiti, in the Caribbean region.
He worked for more than three decades for radio, print and web media, and as press correspondent and for the UN. He also held the position of communications officer in government and non-government institutions. He carried out numerous artistic, anthropological and sociological observations in Haiti and has been writing related books.
The ever young looking man, today in his deep 60s was approved by the France based Society of Songwriters and Music Performers (SACEM) in 1975. However, he finally decided to break silence and start a new music career and a new life, a long battle of Hope."
