Darwin's Theory – Darwin's Theory

Thirty years after this record was recorded, Tom and Andy Noble, The Super Noble Brothers, worked with Darwin Jones to restore this music from the original tapes and give the album it's first official release on their legendary label, Lotus Land.
"From his sanctified hometown of Tulsa, OK, to the hedonistic land of the stars in Los Angeles, Darwin Jones had made pilgrimage to explore his own musical prowess in 1975. Working as a session musician along side greats such as Ike Turner, DJ Rogers and Sly Stone, Darwin decided that in three years he had gained much wisdom, he now felt a duty to return to Tulsa and share his knowledge and experiences with the local talent.
As a final farewell to the life of debauchery and dreams Darwin decided to record an album of music he had written and performed on the Tulsa club circuit with his former groups Job and The Program Band. This idea required Darwin to fly his former band mates out to Los Angeles where they would rejoin him and record an LP's worth of material at the home fortress studio of Sly Stone himself."
