About

Terrestrial Funk seeks to create and perpetuate media that connects people around the globe through the boundless ether of love. As a record label we catalog timeless sounds that evoke the human spirit. Through our forthcoming documentary series we seek to create a connection between the viewer and the planet; inciting adventure and care through the accompaniment of landscapes and soundscapes. At the core of our label is communication. In this day in age we have the ability to touch people in any corner of the world. We invite our patrons, our community to reach out with productive ideas of contribution.

Our website serves as a home to all our endeavors. The online shop features an array of inspiring media from a hand picked selection of exotic records to books, art, photography, films, clothing, instruments and more.

Question: How do you grade your records?

Answer: We strictly grade our records according to Goldmine Grading standards. 99% of our records are graded VG+ or higher and are appropriate for use in club settings. All gradings are listed in the description of the record in the following manner:

ex. Media: NM Cover: VG+

This denotes that the record itself is in Near Mint Condition, while the cover is in Very Good Plus condition. We play-grade our records, unless they are in untouched condition. If you are unfamiliar with Goldmine Grading or would like to learn more, you can view their guide below.
