Cuban Beat & Fantasía is a limited-edition compilation bringing together rare Cuban recordings from the 1970s and 80s: jukebox favorites that lived on only in memory, previously unreleased tracks, and songs that remained unavailable for decades beyond private collections and forgotten reels. These are magical sounds from a transformative era, when Cuban musicians were pushing beyond genre and creating bold new fusions of rhythm, funk, jazz, and experimentation.

Drawn from thousands of records and reel-to-reels preserved in the personal archives of AfroQbano and Garo, this project is more than a collection of rare music. It is an act of cultural recovery: restoring missing credits, tracing overlooked histories, and honoring the artists, composers, and communities whose contributions helped shape one of the most vibrant chapters in Cuban musical history.
